Chamber Electricity Aggregation Program

Bringing a “Bright” Idea to Perry County Businesses

Save money by joining other Chamber members in an electric purchasing pool through OnDemand Energy Solutions.  In January, everyone will see a significant increase in their electric bills.  This program will help offset that increase.

Benefits:

  • Members will be able to lock in lower electricity prices than they will receive through PP&L.

  • Members will have the same purchasing advantage as larger corporations.

  • Each member will have their electric use analyzed by OnDemand Energy Solutions. If OnDemand’s analysis shows that the program will not save the member money, they will contact the member with alternative options.

  • OnDemand Energy Solutions will be available for ongoing customer service to answer questions and help with concerns with billing or electricity usage.

How to Apply:

  • Members submit an application to OnDemand Energy Solutions

  • OnDemand will go out to bid and obtain the best price for electricity

  • Once the bid is finalized, members will receive a contract and have five days to return the contract to OnDemand.

  • Every time one pool closes, another pool is opened so there is no direct deadline to apply.

Eligibility requirements:

  • Perry County Chamber of Commerce member

  • A customer of PPL

  • A commercial electricity user (not residential)
