    Post Harvest Associate
    Full time (non-exempt)


    The Post-Harvest Associate will be responsible for preparing and processing harvests for flower sales and oil extraction. This position will also be responsible for sterilization and sanitization and overall cleanliness.
     
    Essential duties and responsibilities
    • Ensure strict compliance with regulation, law, and company policy/procedure as it relates to all functions, including, but not limited to trimming, drying, and curing medical marijuana in preparation for oil extraction/flower sales.
    • Accurately weigh, fill, package, and record post-harvest materials ensuring contamination is not introduced into process/material.
    • Clean equipment/room to maintain required standards; sterilize/sanitize equipment, tables, and racks/shelves.
    • Assemble secondary packaging.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
     
    The ideal candidate will possess the following:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • One year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
    • Familiarity with weights and measures as well as basic math concepts.
    • Self-motivation including an ability to learn and improve.
    • Demonstrated verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to comply with established safety standards for the proper use, safe handling, and disposal of chemicals and substances.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as an individual contributor.
    • Ability to work all shifts, as needed, and maintain punctuality as well as attendance.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office package, including Microsoft Excel.
    • MJ Freeway experience preferred but not required.
